Nude look

In today's post I am going to show you my nude look. Often I prefer this look for work, because it is natural and doesn't feel heavy. I don't wear foundation with this look, just concealer.

Products I used:

Too Faced Birthday Palette;
Essence eyebrow stylist;
Urban Decay eyeshadow primer;
Isadora eye pencil in brown color ( sorry, don't know name of pencil)
Too Faced better than sex mascara;
Mac pro wear concealer;

Colors from the Too Faced Palette:
Eyeshadows in palette;
I used 3 eyeshadows:
Piano keys on whole lid;

Behind the counter in the crease of eye and blended well;

Then I used Envy also in the crease and blended together with Behind the counter.

I also used Behind the Counter and Envy underneath lower eyelashes.

I used Isadora pencil and applied it near upper eyelashes and then used brush to smudge it out a little bit.

Look:

That was all for today:))
Hope everyone is having lovely fall break:)

My hair adventure

Hello, everybody:))

In this post I am going to how you how my hair went from utter disaster to healthy and shiny.

My natural hair color is dark brown/black. About 1 year ago I decided that I needed a change and my hair went from black to blonde in few hours. And there was price to pay. Hair was really damaged, dry and in bad shape. Hair was always in ponytail or braids, because it looked awful when it was let down.
After a while I tried olive oil, and it did help a little. But in Juni month I decided enough was enough. So i got appointment at hairdresser and sat 5 hours in chair, while she did her job. And that hairdresser did her job, really. She put some brown highlights and did minicoloration to make color natural. I did keep blonde hair , but now it was blended with brown highlights.

My hair was finally manageable again. But it didn't  get healthy right away, because there was still some parts of hair that was chemically burned and dry.

So I decided to use some natural remedies for dry and damaged hair, together with some hair products bought in stores.
And now, after almost 3 months, I am seeing huge changes. My hair is shiny, soft and hair ends are much less dry.

This is products I used last 3 months ( when washing hair):
Coconut oil is great for dry hair ( and many other things too). I put it on dry hair ca. two hours before washing it. You can buy coconut oil in shops for healthy life/food.

I use several different hair masks, not in same time, thought, I circulate between them.

The first one: Garnier ultra doux reconstructing mask:
It is great product, with honey. Hair feels softer and it is more easier to comb through.

The second one:
This one is really popular and has frequently won awards for best hair products.

Macadamia natural oil deep repair masque: it is my third box of this product. It really is good.

Products for after I am done with washing my hair:

I use heat protecting product so my hair is protected when I am using blow dryer.
Kerastase ciment thermique:

For finishing touch I use the following products:
Macadamia natural oil healing oil spray: I spray it over the whole hair and massage it in.

Then i use a little bit of  hair oil on hair ends:
Schwarzkopf Oil miracle:

My hair now:

As you can see, it is not quite as it should be yet. There is sill some dry ends, but I am getting great results from my care routine, so I hope that in few more months, my hair is going to be even better:))

Hello, fall:)

The summer is leaving, and fall is coming, slowly but steady. Fall colors are showing on trees and the days are shorter.

Makeup in fall/winter should be a little heavier, darker. Like the weather outside. Copper, cranberry and golden eye shadows are wonderful in fall.

So in todays makeup post, I am going to show you one of fall makeup looks.

For this look I used Lorac pro pallete:

For my face I used following products:
Upper left: Gosh browkit for my eyebrows; Middle: Bourjois healthy mix concealer; Upper right: Isadora scultp kit for face (Only used blush and highlighter).

The look:

How to do eyes:
First apply Garnet on whole lid and little in crease:

Garnet on left side:

Then on your outer part of lid apply Deep Purple ( left on the picture above). Only thing to remember, these shadows are very pigmented so a little bit goes a long way:)

Then I used Taupe eyeshadow and applied it over the crease to soften up the Garnet:

Then I applied just a pinch of Espresso in the crease ( avoid lid) to define crease a little bit:

In the inner corner of eye/ tear duct  I used  Golden eyeshadow, to brighten up area a little.

For lower eyelid ( below lower eyelashes) I mixed Garnet and Purple.

I didn't take picture of eyeliner and mascara, you can use any black eyeliner / mascara.

Hope everybody liked today post:))

Put on some red lipstick and live a little

I have unhealthy obsession with red lipsticks. My current number of owned red lipsticks are 9 + all lip balms with hint of red color.  Red lipstick has to be most feminine thing in world, along with heels. One can use red lipstick daily with subtle eye makeup ( or none other makeup at all) or in the evening with smokey eyes. And secretly, men love when women have red lipstick on:)

About two week ago I was at the local Vita store and discovered new red lipstick collection from L'Oreal. It is L'Oreal pure red lipstick collection and has a red shade for every skin type. L'Oreal spokeswomen are fronting this collection: Jennifer Lopez, Blake Lively, Eva Longoria, Julianne Moore.

In Vita, the had Jennifer Lopez shade and Blake Lively shade. After swatching those two, I discovered I liked Blake Lively shade better:)

I an very pleased with this lipstick, as it is very rich and creamy. And it lasts forever.

For today's makeup I had a very subtle eye makeup, with classic eyeliner. Sometimes less is more:)

Today's look:

For eyemakeup I used my beloved Naked 2 palette and this are the shadows I used:
Bootycall on whole lid and Chopper in the inner corner of eye.

I used first YDK in crease and blend it well in, then i used Busted over YDK and blended everything together.

Just simple eye makeup:)

Lips:
As I wrote in the beginning of post, I used red lipstick from L'Oreal new collection, Blake Lively shade, sort of dark red lipstick shade:

Hope you liked today's post:))
